📖 Our Beliefs
👑 God
There is only one true God—he is the creator of the universe, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father sent the Word (Jesus), who became flesh and walked among us. The Holy Spirit actively carries out the will of the Father and the Son in the world today.
(John 16:28; John 1:14; John 1:1,18; Genesis 1:2; John 15:26)
📚 The Bible
The Bible is the inspired and living Word of God. It is our ultimate authority and a trustworthy guide for all areas of life. From beginning to end, it reveals God's heart and His redemptive plan for humanity. The truth found in Scripture brings freedom and transformation to all who receive it.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
⛪ The Church
We believe the local church is God's hope for the world. While governments, organizations, and businesses have roles to play, only the church carries the gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of God to bring true freedom. That’s why we gather, grow, and serve together. The church is essential, and our doors and hearts remain open.
(Hebrews 10:25)
🧍♂️ People
People were created in the image of God, designed for relationship with Him. But sin entered the world through Adam's disobedience, and that sin separated us from God. Jesus came to restore that broken relationship, offering life and victory over the enemy through His death and resurrection.
(Genesis 3; John 10:10; Colossians 1:21–23; 1 John 3:8)
✝️ Salvation
Salvation is a free gift of grace from God, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is not earned by good works or religious effort but received through faith in Jesus alone. We believe that every person is in need of salvation due to sin, which separates us from God. But because of God's great love, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to make a way back to Him. Jesus is the only way to the Father, and through a personal relationship with Him, we are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life. Salvation begins with a sincere confession of faith, but it doesn't stop there—it leads to a transformed life, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
(Romans 10:9–10; John 14:6)
💦 Baptism
Water Baptism – We baptize by immersion as a public declaration of a personal transformation after salvation. It symbolizes dying to your old life and being raised to new life in Christ.
(John 3:3–21; Acts 8:27–39)
Spirit Baptism – We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers for service and spiritual growth. This gift is available to every believer and is often evidenced through spiritual language (tongues) and a life marked by the Spirit’s fruit.
(Mark 1:8; Luke 11:13; Acts 2:4; Acts 19:1–6; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23; John 14:26)
☁️ Christ's Return
Jesus will return again for His people. As the angels declared, just as He ascended, He will come back. When He does, believers who have died will rise first, followed by those alive in Christ, to meet Him in the air and be with Him forever.
(Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)
🍞 Communion
We take Communion regularly to remember Jesus’ sacrifice. The bread represents His body, and the cup represents His blood poured out for our forgiveness. It's a sacred moment for those who are saved, to reflect, honor, and give gratitude until He returns.
(Luke 22:14–20; 1 Corinthians 11:20–34)
🙏 Healing
We believe God still heals today. Healing can be supernatural or through medical intervention—God works in many ways. We pray with faith, knowing He is our healer and still moves in power.
(Acts 10:38; Mark 9:25)
🧭 Our Stance
💍 Marriage
Marriage is a holy covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God from the beginning. It is a sacred bond that reflects His love and is to be honored and upheld.
(Genesis 2:20–25; Matthew 19:3–6; Mark 10:3–9)
🌐 Homosexuality
The Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is a sin. Just like any other sinful behavior, we are called by God to love the person struggling with sin and we do not believe that people are defined by their sexual impulses or desires. In our current culture, homosexuality and other "alternative lifestyles" are being labeled as normal. We welcome people who choose to live this way, but we will not embrace or condone what the Bible calls sinful. Temptation in these areas can be overcome through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our role as the church is to help people find freedom from these lifestyles through a relationship with Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit and by a supportive community, which may include referral to counseling services.
(Romans 1:26–27; 1 Corinthians 6:9–11)
🧬 Gender
We believe God created humanity as male and female, each bearing His image with unique design and purpose. These biological distinctions are sacred and intentional. Though men and women are equal in value and dignity, they are created for different roles within the family.
(Genesis 1:27)
🙋♀️ Women in Ministry
We believe God calls, equips, and empowers both men and women to lead and serve in ministry. Scripture affirms the vital role of women throughout the Old and New Testaments—from Deborah the judge to Priscilla the teacher, from Phoebe the deacon to Junia the apostle.
We are committed to releasing women into their God-given callings—whether that’s preaching, teaching, discipling, or leading.
Though some Scriptures have been used to limit women’s roles, we believe these were context-specific and not universal bans. God's Word, when interpreted through the lens of culture, history, and the whole of Scripture, clearly shows His desire to use both sons and daughters in building His Church.
Jesus elevated women. The early church empowered women. And we joyfully do the same.
(Acts 2:17–18, Romans 16:7, Romans 16:1–2, Judges 4–5, Exodus 15:20)
👶 Sanctity of Life (Abortion)
We believe all human life is sacred, beginning at conception. Abortion ends a life that God created and values. Yet we also believe in God’s grace—there is forgiveness and healing for every person who has experienced abortion.
(Jeremiah 1:5; Deuteronomy 5:17)
